Drywall takeoff software for wall and ceiling contractors
Wall lengths by partition type, ceiling area by room, and openings counted as you read the sheet — board, framing and finish each priced on their own line.
A partition plan, measured
How a drywall takeoff runs
How do you take off wall linear feet by partition type?
Make a scope per wall type off the partition schedule, then trace each run on the plan. Feet total per type as you click, so a 1-hour rated wall never gets priced as a standard partition, and the runs stay visible on the sheet.
How do you pick up ceiling and wall board area?
Draw the room boundary and the area comes off the calibrated sheet. Height comes from the partition schedule, so wall board square footage follows from the run length you already traced.
What about openings, corners and finish work?
Count doors, windows and access panels as their own scopes, and keep corner bead, tape and finish level on separate linear scopes. Every one carries its own material and labor rate.
Can you hand the numbers to a supplier?
Export CSV by scope for a board and framing order, or send the priced proposal PDF to the GC. Both come out of the same takeoff, with no retyping between them.
